RegattaTimer app for iPhone and iPad
RegattaTimer is a simple large easy to read in direct sunlight Regatta Timer with selections of 5,4,3,2 and 1 minute. With a large easy to press start button that changes to reset when you press it. The alarm goes off every minute then every 10 seconds of the last minute then every second of the last 10 seconds. It also has sync up and sync down buttons.
Rev 1.4 Added a loop function “countdown repeat” for timing multiple starts.
The timer works in portrait and landscape modes.

This app is extremely easy to use. With the recent addition of the loop function it is perfect for R/C personnel starting multiple fleets in a "rolling start" mode. Starting flags with use definitions are also a great pocket reference.
Great simple app easy to use and see, has nice loud alarms.

Timer doesnt have sound as described, had volume all the way up. Knot meter really small. I like that the countdown timer and knot meter are on same screen. A lock feature would be great
Good countdown with audible beeps. Wish the sounds were louder. Worst problem is that after pressing the start button, there is a lag before it starts counting down. No matter how hard we try to press the button in sync with the start of the sequence, the app always lags two seconds. Sync up/down are helpful.
